Safety tips

Before you pay

• Never pay in advance — no token money, no "delivery charges", no booking fee — for an item you have not seen.
• Check the item carefully. For phones, check the IMEI and PTA status. For vehicles and property, check the original documents.
• Be careful when a price is much lower than the market price.

When you meet

• Meet in a busy public place in daylight, like a market or a bank. Take a friend with you.
• For cars and bikes, check the registration and test drive with the owner.

Protect your account

• Never share the code we send you by SMS or email. Adlagao staff will never ask for it.
• Keep the talk in the Adlagao chat until you meet. If someone asks you to move to another app or click a link, be careful.

Report a problem

• Press Report on the ad or in the chat, or send a complaint. We check every report and remove scammers.
