1. About Adlagao
Adlagao is an online classifieds marketplace for Pakistan. Sellers post ads; buyers contact sellers directly. Adlagao is not the seller of the items and services advertised, does not take part in the deal between buyer and seller, and does not handle the payment or the delivery, unless a page clearly says so.
2. Who can use the site
You must be 18 or older and give your real name and your own mobile number. One person may have one account. We may ask you to confirm your number with an SMS code.
3. Rules for ads
- Post only items and services that you own or have the right to sell, and that are legal to sell in Pakistan.
- Describe the item honestly, use real photos of the actual item, and state a fair price.
- One ad per item. Duplicate ads are removed.
- Put the ad in the right category and the right location.
- Links to other websites and social media accounts are not allowed in ads, except the portfolio link on freelancer ads.
4. Seller's declaration
Each time you post or change an ad you confirm that: the item or service is genuine and not counterfeit, pirated or stolen; you have the right to sell it; the details, photos and price are true; and selling it does not break any law of Pakistan. You are responsible for your ad and for the deal you make with the buyer. If a buyer suffers a loss because your ad was false, you are answerable for it.
5. Items that are not allowed
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives and fireworks
- Narcotics, alcohol, and medicines that need a prescription
- Counterfeit, pirated or stolen goods
- Wild or protected animals and their parts
- Human organs, blood and body parts
- Adult content and adult services
- Gambling, lotteries and "get rich quick" schemes
- Fake or forged documents, fake currency, SIM cards registered in another person's name, and government-issued documents
- Hacking tools, stolen data and stolen accounts
- Anything whose import, sale or possession is banned under the law of Pakistan, including the Import Policy Order in force
6. Review and removal of ads
Every ad is checked by our team before it is published. We may edit, refuse or remove any ad. When we receive a valid complaint that an ad offers a banned or counterfeit item, we remove it within 24 hours. A seller who keeps posting such ads is blocked from the site.
7. Paid services
Posting an ad is free unless a page says otherwise. Promotions and packages are paid for with credits (1 credit = 1 rupee). Prices are shown before you pay. Credits that have been used are not refunded. If you paid and did not receive your credits, send a complaint with your receipt and we will correct it.
8. Buying safely
Meet the seller in a public place, check the item before you pay, and do not send money in advance to someone you have not met. Read the Buyer protection page before you buy.
9. Complaints and disputes
If you have a problem with an ad, a seller, a buyer or with Adlagao, use the Complaints page. We give every complaint a number and aim to answer within 3 working days. A dispute about a deal is between the buyer and the seller; we help by passing on information we are allowed to share and by acting against accounts that break these terms. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the consumer protection laws of Pakistan, and you may also go to the consumer court or consumer protection council of your district.
10. Your account
Keep your password secret. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, gives false information or harms other users. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
11. Our responsibility
We work to keep Adlagao safe and accurate, but ads are written by users and we cannot guarantee every ad, item or seller. As far as the law allows, Adlagao is not liable for losses that arise from a deal between users.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the new version applies from the day it is published here. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan.
